“Kegiatan ini merupakan ajang silaturahim sekaligus langkah awal bagi mahasiswa yang berasal dari Bogor untuk bersama-sama belajar menempa dan mempersiapkan diri apabila kembali ke kampung halaman di masa yang akan datang,” jelasnya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, salah seorang Narasumber Ahmad Jamaludin mengungkapkan pentingnya mahasiswa ikut berorganisasi. Sebab, untuk membangun kecerdasan itu tidak cukup mahasiswa hanya sebatas beraktifitas di dalam kelas.
“Karena kita adalah makhluk sosial, maka kita harus bergaul dengan masyarakat. Dengan kata lain, seorang mahasiswa harus mampu menyeimbangkan antara ilmu akademik dengan pergaulan di masyarakat salah satunya dengan masuk ke organisasi, memperkuat literasi dengan membaca buku, diskusi, dan belajar didalam organisasi,” jelas pria yang juga merupakan Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Hukum Universitas Islam Nusantara (Uninus).
Menurutnya, hadirnya ikmabo ditengah-tengah masyarakat harus mampu berimplikasi terhadap kemajuan Bogor.
“Itulah pentingnya organisasi ikmabo ini. Yakni menyatukan orang-orang yang merantau dari Bogor yang berangkat ke tanah perantauan agar tidak lupa akan tanah kelahirannya,” papar Jamal.
“Ikmabo harus menjadi tempat untuk bersama-sama untuk belajar dan bisa menjadi rumah kita bersama,” tambahnya.
Sebagai informasi, kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh ratusan mahasiswa yang terdiri dari berbagai latar belakang kampus yang ada di Bandung dan sekitarnya.
